Adult Lifelong Learning Programs
The health and safety of our community is very important to us.
In an effort to limit unnecessary exposure to COVID-19 all programming, public meetings and activities scheduled inside Village of Corrales properties are canceled, but we're still meeting virtually on the ZOOM app for our ongoing adult Lifelong Learning Programs.
Our Conversational Spanish group meets each Thursday at 6pm.
Our Book Club meets monthly. Our next meeting will be Monday, May 18th, at 2:30. We will be discussing: "The Immortal life of Henrietta Lacks" by Rebecca Skloot.
Our Saturday Stitch Club will meet Saturday, May 9th, at 10:30 am.
Please contact Sandra at: email@example.com if you are interested in attending any of these online events.
Welcome to our newest Library program: Food from Fiction.
Each week we will be serving up something found in fiction that stood out in our minds. In addition to our food videos links to recipes can be found below or on the Adult Program page.
Please give us your feedback and suggestions because even though we are apart we still want to have our programs interactive!
Invisible Man - Baked Sweet Potatoes
Blueberries for Sal - Blueberry Muffins
The Help - Chocolate Pie
(Brynn used a graham cracker crust for her pie even though the recipe originally calls for a regular pie crust)
The Corrales Library Book Club meets the last Monday of every month at 2:30 pm
Join our Conversational Spanish group, Café a las Seis, for an opportunity to learn, or build, Spanish skills by interacting with people from various dialects and cultures over coffee in a friendly, fun environment.
Thursdays from 6 to 7 pm
Favor de acompañarnos por plática en español.
All skill levels are welcome.
